strange. my 7 pro checks weather data automatically, finally. before last update it hardly ever did. btw maybe the problem is that the app is outdated.

this is not a solution on OOS.

i mean i cannot switch on application notifications. it stays off. on system side it is allowed. but cannot switch on and get access. OOS says that I cannot activate this function for security reasons for this application.

on my OnePlus 11 the app cannot access for notifications. the system blocks it. it's android 13.

i saw some firrmwares on 4DPA. but as far as i know none of the 3rd party application can handle the OTA code or do any update manually.
